As the main contractor, Universal Matrix Technology, has lelied on Luciad tools to develop Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) information system which provide RTAF with an integrated solution to apply a seamless Air Command and Control process. RTAF is able to streamline all of its processes and eliminated the major risks and negative effects of using standalone applications and manual processes.

The system combine Battle management and Resource management.  The Resource management includes functions such as strategic planning, financial management, logistics, human resources, inspection & evaluation. The main functional area of the Battle management include Operations, Intelligence and Flight Training. 

The overall goal of the system is to provide all of the RTAF's command levels with a higher level of situational awareness. The LuciadMap software component are mainly used for storing, extracting, analyzing and modeling of spatial data within the Battle Management subsystem but also serve the Resource Management subsystem.
